Is your man a golf lover? Does he have everything you could ever imagine for golfing? Do you need a good golf gift idea for him? Why not custom logo golf balls?

Why Not Treat Him To A Sauna? An Infrared Sauna That Won’t Leave Him Gasping.

I like saunas, sometimes. They are relaxing, it makes you slow down. Only problem is that regular saunas can be a little too hot for my liking.

Sometimes it’s fine. If the temperature is a little lower than normal and noone has poured any water on the hot rocks then it isn’t so hot and steamy.

Yes I know, a sauna is supposed to be hot and steamy isn’t it? Well yes, but there are limits. Beyond a certain time I start to gasp. My wife, on the other hand,  loves it as hot as it can get.

Maybe it’s a boy/girl thing. I know that in many cases men seem to feel the heat much more than women. In summer on a hot day I’m dying while my wife is out there sitting in the sun. Maybe men feel the heat much more than women. I don’t know, but I do know she revels in the sauna while I gasp most of the time.

And if you love a nice sauna but your man is a little like me and finds it too hot then there is an alternative. I’ve recently come across infrared saunas. A whatred sauna I hear you ask? An infrared sauna.

An infrared sauna is one which is heated by a different method than regular saunas. Regular saunas, or what is known as a Finnish or hot rock sauna, is one which works by means of heating the air, which is why I gasp.

An infra red sauna on the other hand, works by heating you the suana user, but not the air. How? By the use of infrared rays. You know infrared rays, that’s what heats you every time the sun comes out from behind the clouds. And as it heats by infrared rays it doesn’t make you gasp. It heats you, but not the air.

Infrared saunas can sometimes be known as FIR saunas. The FIR stands for far infra red, which is the wavelength of sunlight where the infared light it.

Should You Give Him A Perfume As A Gift?

That’s an interesting question isn’t it. Do men like fragrances, and would they like to be given a perfume as a gift?

Most men, I think it’s true to say, like fragrances, or perfumes, worn by their women. But would they like to wear a perfume themselves?

A lot of men do wear perfumes now, even if they’re not aware of it. What is an aftershave for example, but a perfume with another name? It’s just a masculine perfume, or smell.

And what about deodorants? They have a fragrance don’t they? So there are many men out there who wear a fragrance and aren’t bothered by it.

But what about giving a male perfume to him as a gift? Well that’s a little different I suppose. Because it’s a perfume, not an aftershave.

But I wear one from time to time, and like it.

Think He’d Love Somewhere To Put His Computer – Like A Computer Armoire?

You bet he’d love a nice computer armoire.

It seems that everyone has a computer nowadays. And computer armoires are becoming very popular. But aren’t they just the most useless piece of furniture that you could buy?

A computer is just about mandatory in modern times. If you’re not on the net then you need to be, and it’s a lonely house indeed that is without a computer.

A Modern GPS Motorcyle System Is A Hot Gift For A Motorcyclist

GPS, or Global Positioning System technology, uses satellite signal cross referencing to determine exactly where the GPS user is on the planet, with extreme accuracy. This is useful, but when it is combined with modern mapping software as well it produces a superb navigation system that is light years ahead of any method of navigation we have used in the past.

A modern motorcycle GPS unit will mount on the handlebars and provide a 3 1/2 inch screen that displays a moving map of the roads along which the motorbike rider is riding. The rider can predetermine his ride before he sets off, input it into his GPS navigator and it will work out the best route.

As the map moves the rider can see all the required turns as they come up one by one. And many recent GPS motorcycle systems, like the Garmin Zumo 550 or the Tom Tom Rider 2 are combined with Bluetooth technology so that voice commands are directed right into an earpiece that the rider wears, so he can hear voice prompts telling him exactly where to turn to get where he is going.

There are dozens of options. Perhaps he’d like to plan a route that takes in each of the best fuel stops along the way, or accomodation, or perhaps other points of interest. The GPS will do it all for him, and tell him how to get there.

And with some units it is possible to provide real time traffic information, such as traffic jams, so that he knows what’s happening, and his GPS can automatically route him around the traffic jam along the best route for him to avoid it.

Download it all later for keeping for future rides, or perhaps to share with his friends.

Perhaps he likes to listen to music. Upload his music files to his GPS and he can ride with music to accompany him. Perhaps hands free phone calls courtesy of the Bluetooth technology, or perhaps he’s like to take some photos along the way and share them with his friends on his motorcycle GPS. It’s all possible.

And much, much more. It’s stunning what a modern motorcycle GPS navigation system will do, and all for well under $1000. Garmin and Tom Tom both offer units capable of all these features and more. High quality easy to mount dedicated motorcycle GPS navigators.

Oh, and if he drives a car he can mount it in his car for more sedate navigation as well, or perhaps handheld.

There’s no doubt a modern motorcycle GPS is one of the best accessories he can ever have for his motorcycle.

Is Lingerie A Good Gift For Him?

I’ve written before that I believe lingerie is a fine gift for a man. After all men love to see their women in lingerie, so if she buys some wonderful lingerie and wears it for him then it’s a win win situation. She gets some wonderful lingerie to wear and he gets to see her wearing it.

Now I believe that most women are a little larger than the traditional model who models most of the lingerie we see, that most women are what is euphemistically called “plus size”.
